Buffalo Grass Lawns are quite a bit more expensive but are even softer than native mix. We recommend 3 pounds per 1000 square feet. However, once you are over 1/2 of an acre, you can cut that number by 20%.
After mowing less, with less drought browning, you’ll be thankful you planted your Buffalo Grass lawn.
Upon purchasing any mix, instructions to prep the ground and maintain the prairie will be emailed to you.
